Three Kings Studio is proud to present a solo show by Nick Atkins. Atkins is a multidisciplinary artist working with video, studio based art, and commercial design while maintaining a similar language throughout that is definitively his own.

Most recently, Atkins uses his ongoing fictional narrative script: "HANJI PARTY" as a vehicle to create sculptural artworks which illustrate and reveal the strange worlds he has developed.

Wicked Thicket will feature a new body of work derived from stories centering around the trials and tribulations of the main character, Harp, as he struggles to meet the challenges of the dark and mysterious world in a post-apocalyptic forest.  The show includes over thirty new paintings, sculptural furniture designed for the audience to use while listening to the accompanying audio work also titled Wicked Thicket, and a large scale sculptural installation with thousands of different colors facets and components in the lower project space of Three Kings Studio.

Atkins will also release his latest book Harp’s Garden in conjunction with the exhibition.
